Workers for green areas wanted – fresh air, physical work and varied tasks | Southern Jutland

Do you like working outdoors and are you comfortable with physical work in all kinds of weather? We are continuously looking for both skilled and unskilled people for green tasks for our partners in Southern Jutland. Experience is an advantage, but what matters most is your attitude and the will to get stuck in.

For our partners we are looking for people to work in green areas. The tasks vary with the project and the season, but what the jobs share is that you become part of a team that works with the running, maintenance and preparation of outdoor areas.

This can be both seasonal work and temp assignments of shorter and longer length.

Your tasks

The tasks can include:

• Preparing areas for planting
• Planting trees, bushes and flowers
• Weeding and maintaining beds and green areas
• Helping with the construction and establishment of green areas at new buildings
• Looking after parks, cemeteries and public areas
• Lawn mowing, pruning and hedge cutting
• Clearing up and general tasks as they come up
• Operating smaller machines and hand tools

We imagine that you

• Are comfortable working outdoors all year
• Are reliable about showing up and take responsibility for your tasks
• Can work both independently and in a team
• Have a positive attitude and are ready for physical work
• Have a category B driving licence (an advantage, but not a requirement)
• Preferably have experience from green care, landscape gardening, farming, contracting or similar, but it is not decisive

We are happy to hear both from trained landscape gardeners, gardeners and grey/green workers, and from unskilled people with an interest in the field.
